Hi Folks,

This week we begin our bluegrass Christmas music on Sanctuary. The next three weeks will feature all Christmas music and we’ll end the year with a best of 2011 bluegrass gospel show.

The Cockman Family will kick off this show and you’ll hear from folks like Larry Sparks, Ricky Skaggs, Rhonda Vincent, Patty Loveless and many other bluegrass artists.

Once again I want to encourage you to make a financial gift to Sanctuary Radio if at all possible. I realize that 2011 as not been a good year for a lot of folks including me. Unfortunately I have been unemployed since May and without health insurance, so there is not much left over to put into Sanctuary, except for time . Your gifts will go to keep Sanctuary on the air and on-line towards a new computer fund. My computer is still hanging in there but it is going on nine years old which is ancient in computer years. If it breaks down, Sanctuary might be done. Prayers for work and health issues are always welcome and appreciated as well.

Hi Folks,

I hope that everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Now it’s onward to the Christmas season, which actually started on Thanksgiving if the retailers are to be believed. I try to stay away from the stores as much as possible this time of the year. Bluegrass Christmas music will begin with the Dec. 9th show and continue through the Dec. 23rd show. As a reminder, last year’s Christmas shows are still posted on this site.

Glick’s Greenhouse at 57 Fisher Mill Road in Oley, PA will have two days of live music Dec. 2nd and 3rd. Sunnyside will be performing on the 2nd from 6:30 to 8:00 PM and Blue Mt Junction on Dec. 3rd from 6:30 to 8:00 PM.
