Hi Folks,
This is the last Christmas show of the season. It’s always enjoyable for me to listen to these great bluegrass artists perform Christmas music. Some of these recordings were played on my first Christmas show in 1995, but I never get tired of hearing them. One of my favorites is the Seldom Scene’s version of Silent Night, the second song in this show. The lineup at the time featured Lou Reid and John Duffy along with Mike Auldridge doing some wonderful harmony singing. The Isaac’s version of New Star Shining is another excellent cut and Mary Did You Know by Sonja Isaacs is always a show stopper.
The latest weather report for the NE looks like we might get some snow for Christmas as well. Plus the world forgot that it was supposed to end on the 21st so another new year is waiting for us all.
